Similar to Grand Park, Lucas' success at Fairplex was rooted in his ability to integrate the community in unique and uplifting ways.
In Lucas' three and a half years at Fairplex, he was able to highlight and uplift artists local to Pomona and LaVerne.
He also was key in diversifying the Fair attendees through culturally relevant programming, such as En Memoria, a Dia De Los Muertos event.
